pfsense as UFO router

Has anyone on UFO had any experience of using pfsense instead of the supplied router? Is it simply a case of setting the WAN interface to DHCP and the connection comes up?

Background: I'm considering moving to UFO, but I'm unsure because I will be losing my static IP address and IPv6. If I can still use pfsense that will make the decision a little easier.

you can plug a laptop directly into the fibre to Ethernet converter and get a public ip address so can't see why pfsense wouldn't work if set to receive a DHCP address.

Thanks, Darran - that's useful to know. It sounds fairly simple then.

Just to confirm that your instincts were correct, Darran. I simply told pfSense to use DHCP on the WAN connection, and it picked up an IP address and brought up the connection straight away.
