Last call blocking is a good start but Sky now offers its customers (free) an even better system based on call filtering. The caller initially hears a recorded message asking them to say who they are and then press a number (which is different each time, presumably to filter robot calls). The recipient then hears the callers response and has the option to accept or reject the call, with further options to add the caller to an always allowed or always blocked list. Can TalkTalk look into something similar?

Great idea. Call screening and an answering service is the best way to manage unknown callers.
