Step 4 of 4

With moves to make available viewing on multiple devices, whether that's multiple TV boxes or a TV box and a phone or tablet there's inevitably a need to provide more live IPTV streams to more than one device and more flexibility on use of multiple TV boxes for customers having sufficient downstream speed.

1. TalkTalk should make available the ability to record two IPTV streams on one TV box for customers having sufficient downstream speed.  Subject to any hardware and copyright limitations being overcome that might be currently limiting this option.

2. Multiroom, if offered in the future, would most definitely require more than one Multicast IPTV stream to the household to be fully functional - to allow one IPTV channel to one box and a different one to a second box or viewing app to replace TV2Go.

3. Two TV Boxes in the same room requires remote controls and TV boxes with the ability to recognise which box is required to respond to the remote control commands so that's an extra bit of desirable functionality for households with two boxes in one room.

It would be great to be able to record one TV boost channel and watch another and if I'm honest needs to be possible.

This is correct, we now allow 2 IP streams for fibre customers, meaning they can record 2 boost channels at the same time or record one and watch another. Multi-room is also available.
