Is anyone else sick to death of being told that there's nothing wrong with their service when there clearly is? The current service status system that fobs you off, just because you have one device with connection issues is infuriating. There are 22 other devices that are working just fine (when there is a working service).

Prior to the browser based GUI that TalkTalk are now using to communicate with the router, there used to be a diagnostic tool called Routerstats. This was an excellent tool that allowed you to monitor and log the noise that is on your telephone line over time. Keith French on the community team is familiar with this tool as he used to advocate the use of it.

Why can't you re-introduce this tool in order to assist with problematic lines and build it in to the router software.

Alternatively, make some other monitoring a service that can be viewed by the customer available.

Kind regards

Andy
