How do I view or change my Wi-Fi name and password?

Your wireless network name (SSID) is the name of the Wi-Fi signal being sent out by your router, and you'll need this in addition to your wireless password to access your Wi-Fi on your devices at home. You'll find your default wireless username and password located on the back of your router, and if it's a Wi-Fi Hub it will include a removable Wi-Fi Settings card. You can also personalise these details: the steps vary depending on which router you have, all of which are listed below;

Any devices connected to your Wi-Fi will disconnect when you change your Wi-Fi network name or password. You'll need to reconnect each device afterwards using your new details.

Which router do you have?

Your router's make and model is on the sticker on the back of your router. The make comes first (e.g. Huawei) followed by the model (e.g. HG633). Choose your router from the list below for instructions. If your router isn't from TalkTalk, you'll need to contact the manufacturer for help.
