How can you tell whether you on fibre or not. We are on Fibre 35. As far as I am aware there has never been any change to the cable from the telegraph pole in the street to our house and we have lived here 37 years?

Does your master socket have a test socket? 

 

Would it be ok to connect the router and filter at the test socket so I can run another line test in this set up?

Not sure what you mean. It is connected to the main socket but not directly. I am struggling to get round this post system

6.9 mbps. We were without internet on 20th May 2022 for 30 hours. Engineer fixed what ever was wrong. But since return the internet is slow we were getting 18 to 20 mbps. I dont think anything is wrong in the house. I keep getting texts from TalkTalk saying there is a fault.
