Internet dropping regularly

My connection has become very unreliable. I ran a TalkTalk diagnostic check, which reported a problem and that an investigation would take place. I Then received a message to indicate that no problem was found. This is becoming very tricky with my son about to sit online exams. Please help.

Hi Andy,

 

Thanks for the PM. I'm sorry to hear this and I will take a look now. I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault, however I can see re-connections on the line. Can I just confirm, have you noticed when the connection drops if the lights are changing on the router or the Openreach modem please?

 

Has the set up changed at all since this was set up by the engineer or any new equipment connected to the line? Is the voice service clear with no noise?
