Does any one else have this issue.

 

I perform a speed test (Provided by Talk Talk service desk) and I show a download speed of 8mbps.

 

BT Openreach have tested the line and say they are getting 41mbps to the master socket.

Talk Talk engineer with new router says he is getting 39mbps. (However would not explain how they performed speed test and as it was a Saturday just wanted to leave)

 

However all my devices , phone, 3 different laptops, and a desktop are all reporting 8mbps.

 

I have connected the router direct to the master socket bypassing any extension leads. I have connected my devices via a ethernet cable and nothing seems to work.

 

Talk Talk are now saying it is not there problem as they only guarantee speed to the BT socket and not the router.

 

I have tried to connect a 3rd party ADSL router but there is an issue with getting it to work with Talk Talk.
