Hi,

In the last week or so I have become aware that emails I send are not getting to the recipient.

initially I received notification they’d been rejected, but now they just seem to disappear into a big black hole!! Although they do show as sent at my end.

After running a few tests I think I’ve narrowed the issue down to Sky, AOL & Yahoo mail addresses. For some reason these are blocking my emails!!!

I noticed that this issue isn’t just confined to me so thought I’d get in touch to add my name to the list for fixing.

UPDATE

Just (25/1) received a message from

MAILER-DAEMON@mx-out.tt.xion.oxcs.net   notifying me that an email I sent on 20/1 could not be delivered - this was to an AOL mail address.

if you need me to send msg to you let me know.

Hi @Southwinds

It’s really frustrating, isn’t it??!! The worst part is you don’t know your email hasn’t got to the recipient until up to a week later.  And to add insult to injury I’ve also found that the notifications go into the Spam folder!!! You couldn’t make it up 🤣

Make sure you start your own topic logging this issue so that the TalkTalk technical team pick it up and add you to the list.

I have discovered today that I have the same issue. Emails to a friend’s Sky account have been rejected.

Hiya @number5of8

That’s exactly what’s happening to me too, it’s really annoying isn’t it??!!!

Start a new topic yourself and the TalkTalk tech people will pick it up and add you to the issue. I know this sounds a bit odd, but they won’t pick up your details from this post. A lesson I’ve learned from experience 😁

I have also had two emails to AOL email addresses returned after 5 days as undelivered.  sent on 19Jan returned on 24th, sent on 21stJan returned on 26th.  Reason for return given as Messages from 153.92.124.240 temporarily deferred due to
unexpected volume or user complaints

Hi Vonney1, I've still got an open incident for this issue. I've sent a chaser this morning.
