how to stop receiving spam messages from own email address

keep getting annoying spam emails from my own email address. How do I stop them as there is no way to block them from my own account.

Difficult because this new wave of spam mail is sent in an envelope from ever changing mail servers but spoofs the recipient's From: email address.
