TalkTalk Hub2 + BT Voice adapter+ Powerline No Go!

Just changed to Fibre 150. Powerline network for PC upstairs and Smart TV elsewhere all fine.

Modern desk phone (BT) plugged into Hub2 no problem.

Ethernet connection from router to BT Adapter via Powerline cannot be established.

Green light on adapter flashes appropriately on attempted pairing but not a continuous light, indicating no connection. I need to use the phone in a different location from router.

I am loosening my hair after much experimenting and the most infuriating and fruitless Bot "discussions".

Can someone please tell me if a BT Voice adapter will in FACT connect TalkTalk  Hub2 and a BT Decor 2600 v2, via ethernet cable, to a working Powerline adapter?

Many thanks Chris-Talk Talk and martswain. I will return the adapter and buy cordless phones.

Hi Hairloss,

As martswain has said, I don't think this set up will work unfortunately

If you have a HUB2 then the VoIP adapter is built into that so you can just connect a handset as you have done.

As far as I know you cannot have a second VoIP device connected.

You will need to find another solution if you need phone extensions.
