Can someone advise which setting i need to change as when trying to login to a legitimate website i keep getting error message ‘this connection is not private’ Clicking further is states the website certificate is not valid etc.

I can access the above website on my mobile date perfectly fine. The issue has only arisen of late as I’ve had no problems logging into the website over the last 6 months.

Any guidance appreciated

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Our Devices Manager has asked if you've tried the following,

Go into the advance settings.

Go to the eero app> discover> eero secure > scroll down to see Block and allow sites> allowed and add allowed site> restart the router.

Thanks

Hello again,

Just to add, I've passed this straight over to our Devices Manager and asked them to take a look but we probably won't have an update on this until Tuesday now.

Thanks

Hi Michelle,

I have tried, Safari, Chrome and Duck Duck Go. All have the same issues.

If i try to access the site on my mobile phone connected to my data, i can access the site with no issues at all.

Thanks

Just to add, does it also happen if you use a different browser?

Hi Paul,

This is usually long enough to reset the current session.

Hi Michelle,

Account number added.

I have shut the router down for 5mins earlier but not 30mins. I need my WiFi for work so it will have to be shut down for that length of time in the evening. Why 30mins, seems fairly specific.

The website is https://login.honestfba.com. Its been perfectly fine over the last 12 months with no issues.

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Apologies, could you also add your account number to the Private Notes section of your profile please. Please do not post any personal information on the Community.

I'll need to raise this over to our Devices Manager for them to take a look. Have you previously been able to access this website using the eero? Have you tried powering down the ONT and eero for a full 30 minutes and then retested this again? What is the website that you're trying to access?

Thanks

Michelle

Hi Paul,

Which router are you using please? (make and model)

Can you please update your community profile to include your:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Alternative contact number

We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.

Thanks
