TT Email deactivation

Since cancelling my TT contract in October 2023 I have not been able to delete my TT email account. I have no use for the email and am frustrated by the various junk/scam emails that are constantly being sent to the account. Please please can anyone assist with deactivating the email account??

Good decision. The user deletion of a mailbox and email address is not currently possible but you can achieve your objective to improve your security and peace of mind and give instructions for mailbox deletion to the TalkTalk Data Protection Office team.

See the GDPR help page item  'Your Right to be Forgotten / Right to Erasure '. There's a postal address, which in my view is the best way to contact the Data Protection team, but you can initiate a contact via any of the TalkTalk contact methods.
