I received an e mail today inviting me to join an investment scheme. I entered my name, my e mail address, and my mobile phone number. Soon after I was called and

I then realised it was a possible scam and hung up.

From the information that I entered can these people do me any financial harm.

You do need to be watchful, @Dave75

 - presumably if they called you, though, there's a number from them that you should now block?

I don't think that you have given enough information for them to start moving your money etc.

It's worth signing up to one of those agencies that give you an alert if there's irregular behaviour. After the Talktalk scandal in October 2015 we were given Noddle accounts, which have since been kept up by Credit Karma.

Any irregular activity would be flagged up.
