I've just received an email from YODEL, saying they are delivering a parcel from TalkTalk.

I logged into my account to find that I have apparently signed up for Fibre35, and it's due to go live on 27th October.

I haven't signed up for any upgrade, and I don't have a clue what this is all about. I don't have a fibre feed into the house, and I haven't been contacted about fibre installation.

Very confused.

I received a text message and an email this afternoon, explaining what's going on, yes it is an upgrade to fibre.

It would have been nice to receive some warning so as not to cause confusion, I'm easily confused 🙂

The only email I've had from TalkTalk recently, was an offer to take part in a  Digital Voice Service trial, nothing about an automatic upgrade.

You may have been upgraded automatically as part of TalkTalk's move away from ADSL services, although you should have had an email notifying you about this. Check your spam/junk folders.
