Hi Housepark, often in these circumstances the queue grows too big and the incoming mail doesn't get delivered. If it's an important mail you'll have to ask the sender to resend the mail just to be on the safe side.

If mail was not able to be delivered because the sending server could not access the tiscali DNS then the sender will have received a message from their own mail service that the mail could not be sent. So, the originator of mail will know that there was a problem and it's up to the originator to resume sending mail to you. I'm sure they'll retry in due course.
