Hi.

We still have the £3 sim offer. There was( until recently) offers on the mobile page where one could sign up for discounts on sim only offers.
have all these gone now?

Hi Flaneuse

As this is a quick answer, TalkTalk Mobile uses the Vodafone network.

I have an ancient backup phone that has the Essential SIM. I assume it uses O2 (I can't tell from the info on the device!) Is that correct?

My understanding is that there are no O2 offers for TalkTalk customers.

The good news is that TalkTalk reversed its decision to close TalkTalk Mobile so the Essential SIM at £5 per month with a £2 discount for TalkTalk home broadband customers still continues. Where else could you get a SIM for only £3 per month anyway, even though the usage allowance is fairly small by comparision to what's offered by other providers. TalkTalk Mobile have not yet made any announcement on making new offers.
