Could you please let me have a little more information about the problems you're having? Which aspects of the service are slow? How is the YouView box connected to the router?
The TV guide seems to take along while to come on.
and it seems slow to respond when you bring up the recordings.
Just does not responed very quickly.
I am now working with one of our system managers to try to get to the bottom of this.
To aid us in this, please can you tell me the model number of the Set top box, and the current software version.
The software version and model number can be found by pressing the Y button > Settings > System information and you can find these details from this screen.
Also, please update your forum profile with your phone number.
I am assuming this is a problem accross a wide range of boxes Terryg, Because i compleyely know where you are coming from. You press a button on the remote and it can take up to 10-15 seconds for the box to make the change that you've asked for. it doesn't seem to be isolated to any single function, it's on everything with the box. It is a bugbear. It has got worse over the last 2 months. I hope TT sort it out soon, but i fear it won't be dealt with until a new box is released.

I have provided many examples to our development teams, and still need more.
Sleepless, if you can post your box model / software info, I can add that.
Y button > Settings > System Information
I am in daily contact with our development managers who are working with the manufacturer to resolve this as quickly as possible.
As soon as I have more information I will post and update all.
Before i put my details in it might be noting that it took my box a clear 14 seconds to respond to the push of the Y button, Anyway my settings are as follows:
Box make and Model: Huawei Technology DN370T.02.04.P
Serial Number: F8R8WF12B1614466
Software versions are:
Platform config: 634
ISP Config: 1301011
