Huawei box not responding to handset

Box not responding to the handset except the on /off button. Only way to get it working is to restart box every time. This is happening every couple of days and happens at the most inconvenient times.

I have tried all the resets including a full factory reset loosing all my recordings.

OK, it may be the box itself. I can swap this out but this will be for the non recordable model, would you like me to send this ?
