Your wireless network name (SSID) is the name of the Wi-Fi signal being sent out by your router. You'll also need your wireless password to access your Wi-Fi on a device such as a smart phone or tablet. You can view or amend your network password anytime in the eero app.
Save time not having to reconnect your devices to a new network by changing the wireless name
and password of your new eero to be the same as your previous router.
Any devices connected to your eero network will disconnect if you change your Wi-Fi name or password. You'll need to reconnect them afterwards using your new details unless you're using the same name and password as your old Wi-Fi network.
