What determines upload speed? And can I increase mine?

Hi.

I have fibre 65. My router syncs at 35 down and 4 up.

I am told my minimum guaranteed download is 25.4 and the highest upload is 3.9.

I think 35 down is the best I will get however I would like a faster upload speed.

I have spent an hour and a half with talktalk online chat help and just keep getting transferred from one department to another.

My question: Is 4Mbs upload the best I can have given the above circumstances?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi markstalbot

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults. We don't guarantee upload sync speed.

It would be worth testing with a different microfilter and connecting the router at the test socket to see how the connection/speed compares.
