Can't access work VPN

I am not able to access VPNs through Windows when using my home TalkTalk wifi. It works fine using my office wifi so it must be TalkTalk blocking them in some way. Could this be rectified at the earliest opportunity please as I need to access VPNs to do my job.

Actually no, there is an error message. it reads as follows: "The remote connection was not made because the attempted VPN tunnels failed. The VPN server might be unreachable. If this connection is attempting to use an L2TP/IPsec tunnel, the security parameters required for IPsec negotiation might not be configured properly."

No, it just says connecting and keeps spinning forever. On my office wifi it connects within 30 seconds.
