My fibre 65 works fine with my Talk Talk router.  Upgraded to full fibre 150 and received Eero 6 today. When i try and set up Eero it does not connect to Internet.  Plug in my old router again and all ok

You will need to buy a cheap Gigabit data switch with enough ports on it. Please allow at least one extra port, as that will be required to connect to the Eero itself.

Hi Pclimie1,

As ferguson has said, you can continue to use your old router if it better suits your needs

@Pclimie1

I see you have been pointed in the right direction by @KeithFrench, but frankly if your current router works I would stick with that. The eero is more trouble than it's worth in my personal opinion.

There is certainly a profile change that has to be made to use the Eero. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and sort it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, Full Fibre account number & if you can, please include the serial number from your ONT in the Private Notes section. Please also try to include an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
