Morning,

Thanks for confirming. I've passed this straight over to our Devices Team now and have asked the team to apply the fix to resolve this particular issue. I will post back here to confirm as soon as this has been completed.

Thanks

Michelle

Hi Felix2014,

Could you just retest and let me know if you can now connect the TV on the 5GHz band

If your TV is WiFi 5, it is incredibly unlikely to be compatible with channel 155.

I think the only issue is the lack of options to change the channels on the router. Setting them manually to channels 36-44 would fix the issues. With the current Eero 6 router stuck at channel 155, 5GHz band is very restricted and some of my devices cannot get the speed I contracted. I cannot stream 4K content on Netflix or Disney+ without interruptions, since my TV cannot connect to 5GHz - Channel 155

The speed test on 2.4ghz is low and the 4k videos doesn't play.

OK, could you just explain exactly what happens when you currently try to stream 4k content?

Both the TV and eero router are in my living room.

OK thanks. How far is the TV from the nearest eero? Is it in the same room?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your prompt response.

Yes I noticed from the eero app that the tv is connected to 2.4ghz even though it has a dual band and can connect to 5ghz. But other devices from the app are on 5ghz and also from the available WiFi networks around me they all indicate 5ghz on them but mine doesn't. Thanks

Hi Felix,

Is it just the TV that you are having problems with?
