Eero and Grandstream VOIP adapter after power cut

I’m posting this incase anyone with Future Fibre with an eero & grandstream adapter suffers a power cut & finds their landline isn’t working properly after power is restored.

 

It happened to me last night & rebooting the grandstream adapter didn’t help. However, I then tried restarting the eero network in the eero app & that resolved the issue.

The following is included in the Troubleshooting Guide for Digital Voice

 

  1. Plug your phone into the microfilter
  2. Plug the microfilter into the  Phone  port (green port) located on the Grandstream adapter.
  3. Check all 3 lights are on

If the problem persists turn off the Grandstream adapter and the eero and  then turn both back on again.

 

Good to know that the reboot of both devices is the correct advice from TalkTalk.
