Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account, by requesting you confirm your login through an app installed to your phone.
You must have your phone with you to be able to login, as you will need to confirm your login using the app.
Set up includes downloading and registering to either our Auth0 Guardian App or Google Authenticator on your registered mobile device.
- Login to My Account
- From the dropdown menu under Profile & Settings select My Details & Passwords
- Under My account details select the Account security tile
- Confirm that you want to setup Multi factor authentication
- This will take you to the app store to download App
- Once the App is downloaded open it and scan the QR code presented (you'll only have to do this once)
- In the event that you need to login without your device you'll need a recovery code. Take a note and keep this somewhere safe.
- That's it you're all set
When you come to login to My Account in the future you will be asked for a six digit code that you'll find in your app.
