You can download the Password Manager app from the Google Play Store or from the App Store.

Once you've entered your voucher code into Password Manager, you can sync your password data with another device that has Password Manager installed.

  1. Open Password Manager
  2. Type in your Main Password when prompted
  3. Go to Menu then select Connect devices. A synchronization code is automatically generated. This code is valid for only 60 seconds
  4. Open Password Manager on the device with which you want to sync your password data
  5. Go to Menu then Connect devices, and type in the generated synchronization code from step 3
  6. Tap or select Connect
  7. When prompted, enter the main password that you use on your Premium device
  8. Once synchronization is successful, tap Confirm if syncing with a mobile device, or select OK if syncing with a desktop device

Your password data has now been synchronized between these two devices. If you have more devices to be connected, repeat the above steps with each device. Note that you can generate the synchronization code on any of your connected devices.

  3. Then Language and input
  4. Select Advanced

Note: Depending on your device model, the access to the Autofill service may be different from the above. Consult your device manual for more information. Select Password Manager as your service, and then select OK. Your device is now set to allow auto fill of log-in credentials

Important: We strongly recommend that you create a Password Manager main password recovery code as soon as you start to use Password Manager. This is the only way for you to regain your Password Manager main password if you forget it.

The main password recovery code is a unique and personal code that is the only means of regaining access to Password Manager, should you forget your main password. It is strongly encrypted and can only be decrypted on one of your connected devices. This means that it cannot be decrypted on any other user device.

For your safety, Password Manager cannot reset your main password nor send you a recovery code if you forget your main password. This has been a conscious decision by F-Secure to increase your security and privacy.

Every time you change your main password, Password Manager shows the create recovery code view. We recommend that you save the code as an image and print a copy for safekeeping. The main password recovery code printout should not be stored in the same location as your device.

If you connect new devices, Password Manager may ask you to create a new main password recovery code. If this is the case, make sure you create a new main password recovery code, as the older code will not work anymore.

Note: When you change your main password, you will receive a new recovery code. You will always need the latest recovery code to regain access to Password Manager if you forget your main password.
