TalkTalk TV Box signal quality

On your TalkTalk TV and Plus TV Box you can check the signal quality and strength of any Freeview channel you are currently watching. To do this:

  1. Select the channel you'd like to check for signal strength and quality
  2. Depending on which remote you have, press the Menu or youview button
  3. Press the up arrow to select Settings
  4. Select TV Signal Quality
  5. You'll now be able to see what channel you are testing the signal for, the Signal Strength and also the Signal Quality

To check signal strength for another channel you’ll need to switch channels first and choose this setting again.

A high percentage means you’re likely to get a good picture. If the signal is less than 50%, you may experience picture and/or sound problems. Signal quality can be affected by a number of factors, like the quality of your aerial or the weather.
