Using Amazon Alexa with eero

With the help of Amazon Alexa and the Alexa Skill, you can easily use your voice with your eero network. Once you've enabled the skill and paired your Alexa device (for example an Amazon Echo or other device with Alexa built-in) you can use Alexa from any area in your eero network. It's really easy to setup. The on-screen instructions on the Alexa App, along with the eero app, will simply guide you through each step.

1. Launch the Amazon Alexa app
2. Select the Menu button
3. Select the Skills option
4. Search for eero
5. Select Enable Skill
6. Provide your account information and verify it via the unique one-time access code

Once complete, your Alexa device will be paired with your eero network. To start using eero with your Amazon Alexa product, you just need to know a few simple commands.

Command	eero response
"Alexa, ask eero to find my phone."	Alexa tells you which eero your phone is closest to.
"Alexa, find Jake's iPhone using eero."	Alexa tells you which eero Jake's iPhone is closest to.
"Alexa, tell eero it's dinner time."	Alexa will pause all profiles on your eero network.
"Alexa, ask eero to pause Jake's profile."	Alexa will only pause Jake's profile.
"Alexa, ask eero to put Tommy in timeout."	This is another way to pause someone's profile.
"Alexa, ask eero to turn off the LEDs."	The light on the front of each of your eeros will turn off.
"Alexa, ask eero to turn off the living room light."	Alexa will turn off the light only on the living room eero.
