Accidentally hit the new outlook toggle button and since reverting back I’m now not receiving any emails in my tiscali account in old outlook. Any ideas?

Looks like you'll need to remove the account and set up afresh. NB with a POP3 mail account only mail messages in the online Inbox will be retained as messages downloaded and deleted from the Inbox get removed with the account.
I recommend you set up an IMAP email account.

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
I have already tried that, it’s greyed out there too and ‘Options for syncing your content isn’t greyed out but not working!

You need the Advanced setup settings of an email profile, as in this example for Windows 10 or 11.

Hi
I tried changing back to 995:1 but ‘Change mailbox sync settings’ is greyed out and won’t let me enter anything.

In that case you did set up a POP3 mail account. Use the less confusing incoming mail server name mail.talktalk.net:995:1

Odd that it’s worked up until today?! I have changed it to 993:1 it’s asked for my password but it won’t save the password and the ‘Change mailbox sync settings ‘ is now greyed out and the options for syncing isn’t working!!

Ah. I should have emphasised that port 993 is for IMAP email accounts whereas port 995 is for POP3 email accounts. But you had the host name set for imap.talktalk.net so that suggests you'd set up Windows Mail as an IMAP account and therefore you do need port 993:1

Hi
thanks for your reply, I checked my sync options and incoming was imap.talktalk.net:995:1 which worked ok before I went over to the new outlook. The outgoing is the same as the one your screen shot. I’ll try changing g it to 993.1.
🙂

Do you know how to access the Sync options in Windows Mail? For TalkTalk Mail accounts (all TalkTalk domains) should look like the screenshot shown below.
