Since this morning I am unable to send e-mails from my lineone.net address.
All was working fine when I shut down at 21:00 gmt last night
I seem to be receiving e-mails.
I can send and receive using webmail
I have checked the settings and they are exactly as stated in the links provided via TalkTalk
in on 993 and out on 587 with all accompanying boxes correctly ticked (or not).
Keeps displaying: Enter your user name and password
Server: smtp.talktalk.net
Have ticked save this password in password list
the last error message received (this morning) was (550 - 550 5.1.0 aYCBplQToK3EQ Sender Domain Invalid (TT420)
The BOT runs out of ideas !

OK, looks like a typical Outlook data file corruption issue. So as it's an IMAP email account just backup any cached offline content, remove / delete the account from Outlook and set up afresh.

Thankyou
I thought that it was all hidden, but obviously not.
Outlook is stuck on "were getting things ready, and still sending the "enter user name and password" pop-up
If I press OK it reappears, if I press cancel outlook stop s "getting things ready" and goes to "something went wrong and Outlook could not save your settings. please try again" which I have done by re-entering e-mail address and password.

I've removed the outgoing server settings image as that was revealing your personal data.
Please tick for the outgoing server 'Logon using the Username (full email address of the sending email) and Password. All other settings are OK.

Further info you asked for;
Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2302 Build 16.0.16130.20186) 64-bit
Pop-up keeps asking for user name and Password

Cannot work out how to blank out the first part of the e-mail, so here goes:
Incoming mail
User Name xxxxxx@lineone.net
Moderator note: Image removed.
Hope this helps.

The incident was flagged on Service status. The tiscali DNS server is up and running.
I'll help you get Outlook back in action but I need screenshots so I can see what you have set up. For example have you ticked My outgoing server requires authentication and ticked login / logon using the Username (full email address of the sending email) and Password?

Finally found out how to reply !
Unfortunately still unable to send e-mails.10:50 GMT
Would be helpful if TalkTalk admitted to server down as I have wasted about 2 hours including the work-around to send essential information.

What error message are you now seeing when sending?
What version of Outlook are you using?
Screenshots of the outgoing server and advanced tabs are useful but image edit to obscure the first part of the email address when posting here.

Tiscali DNS was down this morning. Which means the mail servers were not available for sending or delivery of inbound mail messages.
Domains impacted include tiscali.co.uk and its related legacy domains homecall.co.uk, homechoice.co.uk, lineone.net, pipex.com, screaming.net, tinyonline.co.uk, tinyworld.co.uk, toucansurf.com, ukgateway.net or worldonline.co.uk
The incident has been resolved.
Are you still seeing problems?
