Whilst the 'Never ending single word thread' still exists from all the way back to 2008, other word games never made the transition from the old style TalkTalk forums, so I thought I would recreate a blast from the past to exercise the grey matter.

Back on 25 August 2010, Unicorn started the game off with the following rules

one is allowed to, but does not have to, add and/or subtract, and/or change, a letter

The maximum word length reached 18 at one point, but let's start with something shorter.
