Making your number ex-directory means that it won’t appear in the phone book or the 118 directory service, which is a great way to avoid nuisance and cold calls. This is a free service, so making your number ex-directory won't add anything to your bill.
Follow the below steps to make your phone number ex-directory:
Log in to My Account
Select Networks & Connections from the navigation menu
Select My Telephone Settings
Click the box next to Ex-directory listing. You'll find this at the bottom of the list
Click Update
If you change your mind and want to publish your number, you can simply change the setting to Regular directory listing.
It may take a little time for this to take effect. Making your number ex-directory will mean your number will be removed from all future issues of the phone book, though unfortunately, it can't remove it from anything that’s already been published.
