Dear community - we live in a rural area and our green box is over a mile down the road so the ultimate connection is by copper cable and despite whatever it is I am paying for some mornings it won't even load my WhatsApp messages.

I keep unplugging and then plugging back in the router and this seems to work for a short while but is there a better router available out there now please, as I really do need to do something about the poor speeds.

Thank you

Michael

Hi Michael

No problem 🙂

The router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Please let us know how you get on.

Thanks

Hi Michael

I can see that you are using the Huawei WIFI hub.

Would you like me to send a Sagemcom WIFI hub for testing to see how the connection compares?

Yes, thank you, I did but it was the same model of router - on the pull out card for your log in details it has the following code if this helps

REMOVED

I can't see any other codes on the unit itself.

Hi Michael

Can I just check, which router do you have? (make and model)

@ashbyman, you had a new router just in September last year:

Which model was it?

Might not actually be the router that's the issue.

I'll move this to the Broadband section for staff to check the line etc.

It might be an idea to plug the router in at the test socket.
