Your sync speed, also known as your line speed, is the maximum speed at which your router can connect to the internet. It's determined by how far away you are from the local telephone exchange and can change each time you reboot your router.
Your sync speed will always be higher than your actual (throughput) broadband speed. If you want to check your throughput speed, head over to our speed checker.
Your router's make and model is on the sticker on the back of your router. The make comes first (e.g. Huawei) followed by the model (e.g. HG633). These instructions are only for customers with TalkTalk routers. If have an Openreach modem or your router isn’t from TalkTalk, please check your manual or the manufacturer’s support site for more details.
*Current speed for the Wi-Fi Hub will not be visible for Faster 150 Fibre customers.
