If you are unable to make an online payment to TalkTalk, because the 'Card details' form does not open after you enter the payment amount, you may be able to work around the issue, whilst TalkTalk continue to "work hard" on fixing it.

I have identified two ways to resolve the issue, the simplest of which is to install an add-on called Ghostery, which blocks adverts and tracking.

Ghostery can on rare occasions affect the normal working of a website, but you can always pause it for a particular website, or even disable the add-on until you use TalkTalk MyAccount.

Ghostery can be installed on computers, tablets and mobile phones. Note that on Android OS, you would need to use a browser other than Google Chrome for Android, which does not allow add-ons.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.

Thanks for that, I'm sure it will help some of our users, I prefer the simpler solution and pay by direct debit but that doesn't sit easy for everyone.

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.

@Divsec

The other workaround that I discovered uses the NoScript add-on. Using NoScript is a slightly more complicated workaround, hence I did not suggest that method.

With NoScript installed, open https://auth.talktalk.co.uk/

then click on the NoScript icon in the toolbar, and allow (or temporarily allow for the session) all scripts to run except for scripts on cdn-cookieyes.com.

Once logged in, the subdomain of talktalk.co.uk changes to service. For correct functioning, allow (or temporarily allow for the session) all scripts to run except for scripts on cdn-cookieyes.com.

What I have described above is less restrictive than my setup, but I have confirmed that it allows the 'Make a payment' page to function correctly.

With NoScript installed, either choose which domains are allowed to run scripts for every site visited, or only enable NoScript on specific sites.

Hi @nameunknown_ could you advise on the second method?

Thanks in advance.
