Misleading message on My Account.

I logged on to My Account today and found the message
"You have an outstanding balance on your account, and payment is now overdue. Please
- make an online card payment"
Below that in the "Bills" section it showed the amount of the April bill due for payment on 23 April.
This was paid by Direct Debit on that date.
I dug deeper and obtained a listing of recent Bills and payments which included the April bill and the direct debit payment.
It also listed the May bill, which is not visible on the My Account home page.
It is this bill which has created an unpaid balance on the account, but the payment is not overdue, it will be paid by DD in due course.
I know there are no TalkTalk staff here, but I report this anomaly for the benefit of others.

I must have caught it at a bad moment earlier. The "My Account" home page has now refreshed to show the May bill due for payment on 26 May. Life is too short to attempt to explain the anomaly to a script reading AI on the chat!

I remember this occurring for people in the past and it should clear as soon as the DD is taken, @jbuchanangb, but for peace of mind it's worth reporting it directly to Talktalk on 03451 720088 or Live Chat.

I haven't heard the issue mentioned recently at all, so it's odd that it has suddenly popped up again.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
