I just saw a "We'd love you to stay with us" email from TalkTalk that was sent yesterday. Confused, I logged into my TalkTalk account and it says there's a cancellation request processing, with the cease date being 11/11. I have made no such request, so I'm wondering what's happening?

If a text was sent to notify you of the error, I'm sure they sort it out. You can check in to be certain though. Thanks😇

Thank you for your help. I just received a text message that said any communications that I wanted to leave were sent in error, and that my service will not be being stopped. But when I log-in to my TalkTalk account the pending request is still there, will that be removed soon?

I've just checked on the account, and it seems someone is taking over the lines as an unsolicited cease was placed on the account. This usually happens when you are changing providers, I'll need you to confirm if you didn't sign up with any different provider so I can see how we can go about handling the matter. Thanks

I received a "We'd love you to stay with us" e-mail last night and when logging onto my account it also says there is a cancellation request processing with the cease date being 28/10. Its all rather confusing and whilst I called customer services saying I have not made such request, they just said callback on the 28/10 but given how difficult it sometimes is getting through to them I worried it'll just cease and I'll be left looking for another provider.
Having been a customer since around 2007 (and touchwood very few problems) I'm a little confused and bewildered how its been handled.
