how does international max boost work?

I have been paying for the international max boost but seldom make calls. It says that it can be switched on or off amonth at a time. At what point is payment taken, e.g. I get billed on the 15th of the month. If I turn off the boost on the 26th, does the payment billed on the 15th cover me till the next bill? Similarly, if I then switched the boost on, say on the 1st of the next month, is it active immediately?

Subject to the initial 30 days, you can cancel a Boost at any time and it will cease immediately. Any payment already taken will be recalculated and a pro rata part-month credit will appear on the next bill. You can restart at any time, subject to a new 30 day minimum and the prevailing price then available.
