Ads in japanese

Hi all, moved into this new house with some people, wifi was already set up. I am getting a problem where ads on my laptop, smart tv are in japanese (or another asian language im not sure)

 

Some of the search results are in the same language. 

 

Does TalkTalk think I am in japan? how to fix?

 

I also use honeygain ( uses data to make money ) and that is now not work aswell.

Hi @adamp1392 you don't mention which router you inherited but it is likely the dns settings were set to a Japanese  server.  Easy enough to reverse. https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Using-3rd-Party-DNS/ta-p/2205279 will help
