Hi,

I’ve recently moved into a new flat, what hardware do I need installed in order to plug a router in? There’s boxes on the wall from the previous tenant but not sure if they can be utilised.

Hi @Samuelrogerwilliams,

 

As @Gliwmaeden2 says, it would be useful to see some pictures of what sockets / boxes you have.

 

If you just want a service like ADSL or Fibre 35 / 65 then all you need is a working Openreach master phone socket, that socket would look like one of the ones described here : https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Your-guide-to-main-phone-sockets/ta-p/2205432

Perhaps post photos of what appear to be phone sockets etc as we cannot identify anything without further description, @Samuelrogerwilliams.
