I used to be able to connect from home to my work VPN but this has recently stopped working. It still works from a different network not at my home.
My work IT department have asked me to tell you that your broadband seems to be blocking access to a VPN. The VPN Type I am trying to access is PPTP with additional protocols CHAP and MS-CHAP v2.
My router is a TalkTalk Wifi Hub version FAST 5364-3.T8
Please help.

I have ordered you a different make and model of router, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Indeed the router dashboard screen does show SG4K100130 as the version.
How do I request the different type of router?

Hi @craig-bear,
If you browse to the router login screen at http://192.168.1.1/ does the 'version' at the bottom of the screen show : SG4K100130
If so, then this is a new version of firmware, and several customers have been having VPN access issues with this firmware. Staff here may just suggest sending you a new router of a different type.
