A few years ago my wife and I decided to stop using talktalk as our e mail address. At first all was well but gradually I have noticed that more and more emails are being rejected because the original talktalk address is being used to try and send emails. this results in a DMARC error (Remote server returned '554 5.7.0 < #5.7.26 smtp; 550-5.7.26 Unauthenticated email from talktalk.net is not accepted due to 550-5.7.26 domain's DMARC policy. Please contact the administrator of 550-5.7.26 talktalk.net domain if this was a legitimate mail. To learn about 550-5.7.26 the DMARC initiative, go to 550 5.7.26 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=DmarcRejection ffacd0b85a97d-3a4e91465d2sor4147234f8f.5 - gsmtp>') these have been getting gradually more frequent and the importance of the missing mails has been getting more important also. I have noted that these rejected mails were sent to or from one of my existing mail addresses

I'm trying to understand if you mean someone else might be using the email or if it's just a rule. Thanks
