Wrong or missing login data to access e-mail transport server 127.0.0.1. Please check associated account's settings/credentials.

I get the above message.  Why would this be?

Hi BradDam, the incident was fixed yesterday. Your mail should be working normally now.

Thanks Billx.  I haven't changed any settings, so I don't know how this could have come about.  Everything was working fine 2 days ago, but this morning, I keep getting the same message whenever I try to send an email.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi, @BradDa

The the local IP address 127.0.0.1can only be used locally and only within your own computer.

It cannot be used for sending or receiving emails.

If you're receiving this message, something is seriously wrong.
