E-mails seem to have stopped - almost! What's the problem

Up to yesterday I was able to send and receive e-mails. Yesterday afternoon and into this morning I have received just 3 e-mails. I have sent test messages to myself and they appear in my SENT box but DON'T COME TO MY INBOX. Looking at my account on www.tiscali.co.uk I see only the messages that have come to my inbox already - there isn't a ratft of messages waiting delivery. Friends have sent e-mails to me and they don't appear in my inbox either. I haven't made any changes to my security settings. What is going on? Thanks.    J

Hi JM&CS, just to clarify you're not able to send your own TT mailbox a message or another TT mailbox?
