@Hotchoc2001, just checking to see if you still require any assistance.

If you cannot access your email, then you won't be able to receive the data that way.

You can manually save your emails and contacts yourself.

In the centre section of the Mail view in webmail, there are two lots of three dots in the heading. The location of them depends on whether you have list, horizontal or vertical layout. One of them is the 'More message options' menu, and the other is the 'More actions' menu. If you put the cursor on the three dots, a label pops up identifying which menu it is.

For each folder, e.g. the Inbox, click on the 'More message options' menu, and then on 'Select all messages'. Then click on the 'More actions' menu, and then on 'Save as file'. That saves the emails in the folder to a .zip file containing a .eml file for each email. That is the same as what you would receive in the data download.

In the Contacts view, click on the three dots adjacent to Contacts on the left of the window, then click on Export, select the format, and click on the Export button. The default format for export is vCard, which is the format that would be provided in the data download.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.
