Lineone email not working on outlook on phone

I am able to access via webmail but not via outlook on my iOS.

 

I have read previous threads and changed IMAP settings from tiscali to talktalk but still shows error when trying to log in.

 

I haven’t had any emails about changing passwords, 

 

please can someone help? I’ve had this email address 28 years!  X

I uninstalled and reinstalled and seems to be working perfectly.

Excellent. That means the lineone mailbox hasn't been restricted to webmail only access. And as you say, just an issue with Outlook for mobile. Remove the account from Outlook and retry setting up afresh or just uninstalling Outlook for mobile and reinstall.

So I have opened my email through the iPhone mail app and it worked! Appears to be an issue with my outlook only!

Good to know that the mailbox is working via webmail.

 

To avoid restriction to webmail only access you must use the correct IMAP / POP3 secure settings for email software / app on every device or mail collection service you use to view your Lineone mail messages.

 

Outlook for mobile is secure by default. So check to see if you can connect using the standard email app on the iPhone.

 

Tell us what other devices / software are used to connect to the mailbox.

I Can log into webmail

 

But unable to access emails on outlook on phone. Saying IMAP server issue.

 

on reading a previous thread I updated my imap settings to talktalk from tiscali but it still won’t work.

 

I’ve had this email 28 years please can someone help?
