I received an e mail from Talktalk yesterday to say that since I no longer had an Talktalk account that I would be charged later this year for their e mail service.

in fact I have held a Talktalk account continuously for over 20 years.

How do I deal with this ?

This will require TalkTalk to deal with your problem.
