Hi, I have a problem with critical notifications from my NAS drive always being sent to spam on my TalkTalk account. The NAS is set up with one of my TalkTalk email addresses. I keep moving these emails from spam to my inbox in the hope the filters will recognise they are not spam, but they are still being filtered after months of manual intervention. What is going on? I want control of my spam filters; I now have more legitimate emails being spam filtered than spam emails going to inbox.

Please refer to the following article: Using TalkTalk Webmail
Scroll down and there is guidance on setting up filter rules

Hi, this highlights the problem I keep coming up against. On my TalkTalk Webmail (on Chrome browser) there is no "security" option under Settings->All Settings->Mail or Settings->All Settings->Mail->Advanced Settings, and there is no "Spam Filtering Options" under Settings->All Settings->Security or Settings->All Settings->Security->Advanced Settings. I have located the Allowlist under Settings->All Settings->Mail->Access Lists, but that only allows specific incoming email addresses, not the more general filtering of too much of my mail. Rules would be very tedious to have to set up and I would hope should not be necessary.

Please try lowering your spam filtering strength, if it set to High, reduce it.
1. Log in to TalkTalk Webmail → Settings → Mail → Security → Spam filtering options.
2. Create allow rules, by adding your NAS sender address to your safe senders list
Create a rule that moves any message from that address directly to Inbox (rules sometimes override spam)

Thanks for the quick response. I generally access my inbox via IMAP on Outlook or Thunderbird (depending on which operating system I'm using), but I always log in to webmail to move anything from spam to inbox.
