Possible existing problems

Message 2 of 2

I am 85 yrs. old, technically hopeless on computers, and terminally ill.  In the last few days I have received numerous e-mails, all suggesting that they originate from TalkTalk, and causing me some anxiety.  How do I know when such e-mails are genuine or not.  I would appreciate your expert advice.

If they are about your emails, they are scam.

Just delete them and don't click on any links.

If you hover your mouse over the sender's address their true email address will be shown. It is highly unlikely any of these will be a TalkTalk address.

Any other mails from TalkTalk will be personally addressed to you. They won't say dear customer or have your email address as the salutation.

Hope this helps.
